Yu Ji

Wasted mud is the artist’s first publication and is produced to accompany her solo exhibition at Chisenhale Gallery in 2021; her first institutional show outside of Asia.

The richly illustrated catalogue presents an in-depth exploration of Yu Ji’s practice to date — spanning sculpture, installation, performance and video — that is motivated by the investigation of the concept of place and the specific interplay between the human body and our surroundings.
